In the first quarter of 2014, Swedish sawmills exported about 3 million cubic meters of sawn and planed lumber, 8.9% more than in the same quarter of last year. After a strong May, exports of Swedish sawmills has slowed significantly in June. A total of 1.03 million cubic meters were sold abroad, which were 14.2% less than in the reference month last year.
