Higher roundwood prices in Estonia

Nearly all assortments of roundwood in Estonia have become more expensive in November 2013 on a yearly basis, except birch. Pine logs were traded at EUR 67.54/m³ (more than 12% over November 2012). Spruce logs price has increased 16,5% yoy, but it is slightly cheaper than October 2013.

Small diameter logs (d<18) price rose by about EUR 8/m³ over November 2012. Pulpwood (spruce&logs) price also surged with an average of EUR 5/m³.

However, birch has become cheaper: birch logs by more than -4%, while birch pulpwood's price declined by -14,5%.
